ACKERMAN JEANS THREAD SIZE 80
The Ackermann Jeans Thread is a high-quality thread capable of sewing thick and dense fabrics such as jeans. In this set there are six colors in size 80. Every spool contains 150 meters of thread. The jeans sewing thread in size 80 consists of 69% polyester and 31% cotton. This jeans thread is, as it should be, very tear-resistant. The Ackermann Jeans Thread proves itself by demonstrating optimal sewing features and a symmetrical seam pattern. The light colors are suitable for sewing eye-catching decorative stitches. The blue tones are often applied for repairing and darning. The thread is machine-washable up to 60 degrees Celsius. In the VERITAS Jeans Kit there are 10 empty bobbins. It is worthwhile to stockpile the most popular colors so that you can immediately change the spool when the bobbin thread runs out. We recommend the application of plastic spools because these are easier and quieter, and moreover, there is less material abrasion than with metal spools
MAGIC CLIPS
The Magic Clips are an excellent alternative to fi xing pins because they can fasten heavy fabrics or several sheets in the ply. With the Magic Clips, you fi nally have the possibility to fasten oilcloth, canvas, leather, etc. without creating holes with fi xing pins. The Magic Clips have a practical gib and a fl at underside. Thanks to the big span width, several sheets in the ply can be held together without diffi culty. There are countless possible applications with which the Magic Clips make sewing easier, whether it be fastening bag handles or piping, or when working with an overlock sewing machine.

Accordingly, the 90 needle is to be applied for fi ne and thin fabrics, while coarser and thicker fabrics require the 110 needle. JEANS SUPPORT
Overstitching thick seams can be quite problematic; the problem being the movable sewing foot. Although normally advantageous, the sewing foot becomes problematic when transitioning from thin to thick areas in the fabric. The sewing foot tilts backwards and thus barely lies on the thick work piece. The Jeans support is the perfect solution to this problem! Our attachable foot serves to even out fabrics of varying thickness. First, sew up until the thick area and then leave the needle in the fabric. Next, raise the sewing foot and lay the Jeans support under the sewing foot from behind. Once you have reached the end of the thick area, the removable foot will be pulled backwards. The Jeans support has two different possible sizes. We recommend you use the appropriate side of the foot which corresponds to the desired seam size. In addition, you can sew buttons with a shank with the help of the compensating foot.
